In autumn of 2022 the HSE introduced their long-promised scheme offering free contraceptive services to women age 17-25 inclusive and at Gladstone Street Surgery, we were delighted to be part of this new programme.  It has subsequently been expanded to cover contraceptive services for all women age 17-35 inclusive.

In essence for women in this age category, contraceptive services are available free of charge, including consultations, procedures (long acting contraception methods) and prescriptions, regardless of whether you hold a GP card, a medical card or neither.

All of the doctors at Gladstone Street Surgery are qualified and experienced in all methods of contraception.
